About

The Nairobi Chronicle is an on-line journal based in the city of Nairobi, Kenya. The Nairobi Chronicle intends to serve its audience by providing timely and accurate news, features and analyses in any suitable media, but mostly using text and pictures.

It is also the hope of the Nairobi Chronicle to spur debate on crucial issues affecting the Republic of Kenya, issues that seem to be forgotten in politically-inspired tribal bigotry that has afflicted the country. In this spirit, we encourage you to comment on any article that will appear on this website.

We further encourage you to contribute news and features in the spirit of open discussion. Our email address is:

nairobichronicle@live.com

We, at the Nairobi Chronicle hope to establish new benchmarks for the media industry in Kenya. We intend to uphold journalistic ethics by providing fair, balanced and objective information that will enable you to make an informed judgement on the various issues in Kenya. We also wish to request our prospective contributers to adhere to the same etiquette we uphold.

This online journal should be a forum for informed discussion preferably with hard evidence. Please do not use the Nairobi Chronicle for character assassination or incitement on account of political beliefs, religion, ethnicity, gender, race, age-group or nationality. Doing so will cheapen the Nairobi Chronicle.

Thank you for your interest in the Nairobi Chronicle.

  11. WAR IS CHERISHED BY THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER SEEN ITS IMPACTS LIKE LOSS OF LIFE,LOSS OF PROPERTY WORKED FOR IN A LIFE TIME,DISPLACEMENT OF FAMILIES ETC AS A SOLDIER I KNOW HOW THE HEART POUNDS WHEN WAITING IN AMBUSH OR IN PATROL YOU CIVILLIANS WILL BE WAITING FOR THE VICTORS NOT KNOWING WHAT THEY WENT THROUGH, AS I SEE MOST ADVOCATES OF WAR BETWEEN KENYA AND UGANDA AND WHO IS A VICTOR I BET YOU ARE BETTING FROM WEST AFRICA BUT IF YOU ARE TRUE EAST AFRICANS,YOU WOULD BE TALKING OF WHAT CAN BUILD US AND NOT WAR.TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH UGANDA HAS AN EXPERIENCED ARMY WHICH IS BATTLE TESTED BUT IS HAVING LOW MORAL DUE TO THE BAD LEADERSHIP,LOWPAY,POOR HOUSING,AND ABOVE ALL OVERWORKED WHO DESERT EVERY YEAR I GUESSE THE EXPERIENCED SOLDIERS WE ARE TALKING ABOUT ARE NOW DESERTERS IN U.P.D.F WHICH RECRUITS EVERY YEAR TO COVER THE LOSS OF DESERTION.KENYA CAN BEAT US UGANDANS BECAUSE THEIR SOLDIERS ARE WELL TRAINED BY EXPERIENCE FROM OLDER SOLDIERS IN SERVICE WHICH UGANDA LACKS DUE TO HIGH RATES OF DESERTION SO PLEASE UGANDA kunja mkia yenyu!
